Grant interviewed me for my role at Manchester City in 2011 and a memorable question he asked me was; tell me about a recent mistake you’ve made and what you learnt from it? This surprised and threw me at the time to ask me about something negative….but I soon realised that this targeted one of Grants most fundamental interests; How people identify and acknowledge issues, reflect and logically reason to improve themselves or a situation. One of his sayings was…”People may fall over from time to time but it’s how they get back up is key”! Grant was always available for me and has tremendous energy and passion for development of staff and players. He’s is the wisest physiotherapist I have every worked with, but despite this huge experience was always open to any ideas himself.  A close boss and friend to me over our time together at the club and I certainly have him to thank for my development.
